Resumen

Product owners and quality leaders need to understand the quality level of a software product through its life cycle in order to achieve appropriate decision making to remain in the same iteration or to continue to the next one. Product Quality Evaluation Method (PQEM) evaluates and monitors the quality of a software product within each iteration. The present article introduces the extension of the method, P QEMwi to include the definition and calculation of weights for each quality characteristic measured. P QEMwi allows the stakeholder to set their point of view and importance of each quality characteristic, and we carried out an illustrative example of two apps, comparing the decisionmaking of the weights selection and the results of applying P QEMwi.
